Design Home, Sidmouth
This sloped garden started life as a mud pit following the build of the clients’ beautiful design home. Overlooking stunning views, the design needed a lightness of touch that allowed it to settle into its natural setting.
The design works with the contours of the terrain, dressing slopes with meadow and level ground with winding paths. Staggered stone steps and benches appear to emerge from the ground, giving the feel of always being there.
The design created destinations from which to enjoy those remarkable views, whilst keeping you enclosed and sheltered in planting.
